Eligibility

FlowerMost women discharged under honorable conditions are eligible for care. Spouses of 100% service connected veterans (non-veterans who have CHAMPVA benefits) are usually eligible. There will be no charge to you if you require care for a service-connected disability, if your income is below a certain level, or if you have CHAMPVA benefits. Under the Eligibility Reform Act, veterans are now entitled to a comprehensive benefits package. Health Benefits Advisors are available to answer your questions to determine the extent of your eligibility.  Or, visit the VA Health Care Eligibility web site for more information.
