The Mental Health Service Line provides community based mental health, tele-health, and substance abuse services to veterans.   This is accomplished by ensuring access to an integrated system of care, connecting community based programs to inpatient facilities.

The Service Line provides treatment and support services that are sensitive to the veteran's social, cultural and psychiatric/substance use issues.

Outcome evaluations, current scientific research and continuous quality monitoring and improvement efforts guide this system.  Educational opportunities for trainees and staff ensure its maintenance and enrichment.
