Service Line Description

The Sensory and Physical Rehabilitation (SPR) Service Line provides Rehabilitation Services and Prosthetics and Sensory Aids to veterans to maximize their well-being and independence. The service line is made up of four programs:

These programs are designed to assist patients in achieving their highest level of functioning possible.

All sections of SPR are available at all medical centers. There is a major referral center in Connecticut for Blind Rehabilitation and Audiology. There is also a major referral center at Boston for Prosthetics, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Audiology.
